Pure Lemonade


Lemonade






Ingredients :
  • 1 3/4 cups white sugar
  • 8 cups of water
  • 1 1/2 cups lemon juice

Method:
  1. In a small saucepan, combine sugar and 1 cup of water. Bring to boil and stir to dissolve sugar. Allow to cool to room temperature, then cover and refrigerate until chilled.
  2. Remove seeds from lemon juice, but leave pulp. In pitcher, stir together chilled syrup, lemon juice and remaining 7 cups water.

Notes:
Lemonade suitable to drink in hot weather such as in summer. I really love lemonade because it really give refreshment to me in hot weather. You should try this beverage. You will love it.

Hello everyone,


Beverage is also important element that served with dishes. Beverage is a drink or liquid refreshment that more than water. There a lot types of beverage such as smoothies, ice blended, lemonade, juice and soda. Beverage has variety of flavor that suited with your taste. I believed everyone have their own taste on something. You can make awesome and special beverage based on your taste. Some people love drink sweet and sour drinks so they can make lemonade. Some people love chocolate and milk so they can make smoothie chocolate milk, So in the next entry I will share some idea on beverages. So, you guys can try and don't forget to share any picture on comments about the recipes.

Homemade Ice Cream

Hello guys...

Today, I want to share very easy and simple ice cream recipe. Seriously it easy and I sure you guys will love it. You just only use 2 ingredients. There a video how to make this recipe. Hope you guys enjoy watching it. I also stated the ingredients and methods of this easy homemade ice cream recipe. 






Ingredients:

  • 14 ounces (1 can/ 400ml) sweetened condensed milk (fat-free or regular) cold
  • 2 cups (16oz/450 ml ) whipping cream, cold



Method:

  1. Place sweetened condensed milk in the fridge to keep cold
  2. Beat cold heavy cream on medium in a stand mixer fitted with the whisk attachment (or using a hand mixer) until stiff peaks form.
  3. Turn down the speed a little and pour the condensed milk into the whipped cream. (Stir in vanilla extract now if desired). 
  4. Now you have your ice cream base you can add in your desired flavors and fixing. GO NUTS! experiment and enjoy creating something that is all you. 
  5. Place in a large resealable container and freeze at least 6 hours or overnight before eating.

One Bowl Chocolate Cake

One Bowl Chocolate Cake
Prep: 20 minutes Cook: 30 minutes Ready in: 1 hour


One Bowl Chocolate Cake III


Ingredients :


  • 2 cups white sugar
  • 1 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 3/4 cups unsweetened cocoa powder 
  • 1 1/2 teaspoon baking powder 
  • 1 teaspoon salt 
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup boiling water

Method:

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 C). Grease and flour two nine inch round pans.
  2. In a large bowl, stir together the sugar, flour, cocoa, baking powder, baking soda and salt. Add eggs, milk oil and vanilla and mix for 2 minutes on medium speed of mixer. Stir in the boiling water last. Batter will be thin. Pour evenly into the prepared pans. 
  3. Bake 30 to 35 minutes in the preheated oven, until the cake test done with a toothpick. Cool in the pans for 10 minutes then remove to a wire rack to cool completely. 




Notes:
This moist chocolate cake. You only take a few time to prepare the batter. I hope you guys love it and if have any question can comment below. InshaAllah I will answer as soon as possible.

Dessert usually refers to sweet dish that eaten after main course or meals. Examples of dessert are pastry, fruits, pudding and ice cream. In this blog, I will share all the best and delicious recipes of dessert that I sure everyone will love it. For me, cake is my favorite dessert ever and it's easy and simple. I tried lot of recipe and I love all the recipes because it's easy and tasty.The dessert is my all time favorite because it sweet and delicious. Usually, dessert consist of sweet dish and savory.

Nasi Ulam

Nasi Ulam 
Prep Time: 40 minutes | Total Active Time: 50 Minutes
Nasi Ulam

Ingredients:
  • 1/3 cup dried shrimp
  • 1/2 cup fresh or frozen shredded coconut
  • 2 cups cooked rice, chilled
  • 5-6 medium daun kadok (wild betel leaves), finely sliced
  • 1/4 cup Thai basil leaves, finely sliced
  • 1/4 cup mint leaves, finely sliced
  • 1/4 cup daun kesom (polygonum leaves/Vietnamese mint leaves), finely sliced
  • 3 kaffir lime leaves, finely sliced
  • 5 shallots, peeled and thinly sliced
  • 1 lemongrass, white part only, thinly sliced
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 3 heavy dashes white pepper powder
  • 3 heavy dashes black pepper powder

Method:
  1. Soak the dried shrimp in warm water until softened. Coarsely pound them using a mortar and pestle. Heat up a wok and dry toast the pounded shrimp until they are dry or smell aromatic. Do not burn the dried shrimp.
  2. Make the shredded coconut into kerisik by stir-frying them continuously in a wok, until they turn golden brown in color. Transfer to the mortar and pestle and pound until fine. Set aside.
  3. In a big bowl, combined the cooked rice and all the herbs, shallots, toasted coconut, and dried shrimp together. Add the salt, sugar, and peppers. Toss to combine well. Serve immediately.



Nasi Ulam


Cook’s Note:
For nasi ulam, use basmati rice because the rice is drier and less sticky, fluffy, and nutty in flavor compared to Thai jasmine rice. The texture of basmati rice the best for nasi ulam. If use regular rice for this recipe, you might have to chill it in the fridge overnight to lose the moisture content in the rice.

Creamy Shrimp Pasta

Creamy Shrimp Pasta
Serves 2 | Prep Time: 15 Mins | Cook Time: 5 Mins

Ingredients:
  • 6 oz spaghetti
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 8 oz jumbo shrimp, peeled, deveined, tail-on
  • 1 cup pasta water
  • 1/4 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt or to taste
  • 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 1/2 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 2 cups baby spinach
  • 1/2 tablespoon chopped flat-leaf parsley
  • Lemon wedges

Method:
  1. Bring a pot of water to boil. Cook the spaghetti according to package instruction until all dente. Drain and save 1 cup of the pasta water. Set aside.
  2. Heat up a skillet with the oil. Saute the garlic and add the shrimp. Cook until the surface turns opaque, add the pasta water, cream and bring it to a simmer. Add the butter, salt, cayenne pepper and lemon juice. As soon as the shrimp is cooked through, add the spinach, stir to combine well.
  3. Toss in the spaghetti, stir to mix well with the cream sauce. Turn off heat, top with the parsley and serve the pasta immediately with some lemon wedges.

Ermm... Main Course, Entree, Meal ? No idea.

Assalamualaikum and hey you all...

I assumed that everyone what know what actually meaning of main course. But never mind, I will tell a little bit about main course. Main course or known as entree in Canada refers to the ​largest or most ​important part of a meal in which there are different ​parts served separately. Usually, main course is rice, noodle, spaghetti, curry and more. The main course usually served with side dishes. For example rice with chicken curry, sambal belacan and fried chicken.

Shrimp Fritters




Ingredients:
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour, sifted
  • 1 tablespoon rice flour, optional
  • 4 oz peeled baby shrimp, rinsed and pat dry
  • 4 oz bean sprouts, rinsed
  • 1 large egg
  • 3/4 cup water
  • 1/4 heaping teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon fish sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon sugar
  • Oil - deep-frying

Method:
1. Combine all the ingredients (except the oil) in a bowl and mix well. The mixture might seem very dry at first, but eventually, it will become slightly watery.
2. Heat up a wok with enough oil for shallow-frying. As soon as the oil is fully heated, lower it to medium heat. Use a tablespoon to scoop up a heaping tablespoon of the mixture and gently drop it into the wok. Repeat the same until the oil is 80% filled with the shrimp fritters (you will have to fry in 2-3 batches depending on the size of your wok). Turn the shrimp fritters over and fry until both sides are golden brown. Dish out with a strainer, draining excess oil by laying the shrimp fritters on a dish lined with paper towels. Serve immediately with your favorite chili sauce.
Cook’s Notes:
You can trim the ends of the bean sprouts if you like.
You can add some carrot strips into the mixture. It adds color (and a mild sweet flavor) to the shrimp fritters.  Sweet potato strips makes the shrimp fritters even better.
This recipe is best when made with tiny baby shrimp called geragau (which is used to make cincaluk).

Five Layer Black Bean Dip

Five Layer Black Bean Dip 




Ingredients:


  • 2 cans (15-ounces each) black beans
  • 1 cup sour cream, or ½ cup sour cream + ½ cup whole milk yogurt
  • 1 cup chopped tomatoes (seeds and juices removed), or ready-made salsa
  • 1 tablespoon jalapeno peppers or ¼ cup canned fire roasted green peppers (about 4 ounces), diced
  • ½ cup scallions, roughly chopped
  • 1 cup guacamole or about 2-3 firm avocados, diced
  • 1 ½ cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • Fresh cilantro, roughly chopped
  • 4 lime wedges or 1/4 cup fresh lime juice

Method:


  1. Drain the beans of all liquids using a colander or sieve.  Pour the drained beans into the bottom of a square cake pan and spread the beans evenly across the bottom.
  2. Layer the sour cream or the yogurt-sour cream mixture on top of the beans. Do the same with the chopped tomatoes or salsa. Add the jalapenos and/or green peppers on top of the salsa then add the scallions.
  3. Top with an even layer of guacamole or diced avocados then add a layer of cheddar cheese on top.  Place lime wedges on the side for those who would like to squeeze on top of the dip before eating, or squeeze fresh lime juice over the entire top layer of the dip just before serving.
  4. Scoop up with freshly baked homemade tortilla chips and a side of hot sauce, if desired.






This five-layer bean dip is an American favorite than from Mexican traditional food. You can use any kind of cheese that you like, whole beans or smashed beans, salsa or simply cut tomatoes, guacamole or smashed avocados. This  recipe is quite quick, easy and healthy that requires no cooking.

Appetizer ?

Hi guys...


Today I'm going to share a few thing about appetizers. Do you know what's actually appetizer is? So let's me explain a little bit what's actually appetizer is. Actually, appetizer is a small dish of food or a drink that taken before a meal or the main course of a meal to stimulate one's appetite. According to vocabulary.com, an appetizer is a small serving of food — just a few bites — meant to be eaten before an entree, and often shared by several people. You can also call an appetizer an hors d'oeuvre. An appetizer is meant to stimulate your appetite, making you extra hungry for your meal. This is where the word comes from, literally meaning "something to whet the appetite" or "something to appetize." I hope you guys get some idea about what's really appetizer means before try the recipes that I will share to you guys. There's a lot of appetizer recipes that will make you craving a lot.
